In 2015, Oracle's Elixir was launched to provide in-depth performance analytics for professional League of Legends. Since then, esports stats and analysis from Oracle's Elixir have been relied on by professional coaches, analysts, broadcasters, writers, daily fantasy competitors, and hardcore fans around the world. OE added coverage of professional VALORANT in 2024, and now OE also covers StarCraft: Brood War, the world's oldest and most storied esport.

The StarCraft: Brood War player ratings on Oracle's Elixir are a custom blend of Elo and Glicko2 ratings, based on the results of professional competitive matches from a select group of leagues and tournaments, as recorded by Liquipedia. Tim Sevenhuysen has been serving the esports industry for more than a decade as a data scientist, analyst, and content creator. He initially launched Oracle's Elixir for League of Legends in 2015. Since then, he has held various roles in esports, including time as the Director of Esports Analytics for 100 Thieves, the Head of Data Science for Esports One, and the Head of Shadow.gg, a subscription analytics platform for pro esports teams.
